The Ventura Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Economic Outlook
Breakfast with the goal of providing timely information on the economic
position of Ventura to interested business leaders.
A presentation style event, we began with the review of the Economic
Forecast information from Dr. Bill Watkins, UCSB Economic Forecast
Project. John Krist, Sr. Editor a nd Columnist Ventura County Star
then gave a historical and present day overview of agriculture in the
city of Ventura. Nelson Hernandez, Community Development Director,
City of Ventura ended the breakfast with a report from the City of
