Community Development

Leadership Ventura Class of 2006

Since 1994, Leadership Ventura has provided 176 community members the unique opportunity to experience - first hand - the accomplishments and challenges facing our elected officials, business and cultural community.

Through the 10 month Leadership Ventura program, key community leaders share information about the latest plans, developments, and decision-making processes affection our community. Lectures, panel discussions and site visits provide Leadership participants with a forum for discussion and a greater understanding of local and state issues.  Each day begins at approximately 7:30 AM and lasts until 5:00 PM. Meals are provided. Transportation is sometimes included or carpool arrangements are made.  Please contact Ventura Chamber of Commerce or download the 2008 Leadership Ventura Application for next year’s program.
