The Ventura Chamber of Commerce has a well balanced list of business support services for its business members. Membership services are much more than the traditional interpretation. When we offer a membership to a business we are offering that business our advocacy, networking and professional connections.

Business Development
We promote Business Development by way of participation in local economical issues. City, county, state and federal laws and representatives are regularly informed of our positions. We work with outside organizations to offer a Business Resource Center for a gamut of resources.

Advocacy
The chamber has a strong working relationship with elected officials, providing them with critical information on business issues and lobby at the federal, state, county and local levels on behalf of business. Our Governmental Affairs Division is the legislative and regulatory advocate for business.

Community Development
Creating a more positive educational environment for youth and adults alike; the Community Development Division partners with organizations to support programs that benefit the entire community. Most of these efforts are coordinated through our Ventura Commerce and Educational Foundation (VCEF).

Networking
Our chamber has a phenomenal group of members who are dedicated to working with one another. We have a series of Networking Opportunities throughout the year. Our famous Connection Breakfast continues to be our largest and most successful event. Ribbon cuttings and grand openings will always be a part of our support. We have a fantastic group of Ambassadors who work tirelessly for the members and chamber.

Communication
We have formal ways to keep our members apprised of issues needing their attention through our Communications Division. We have a monthly newspaper the Ventura Business and a bi-weekly e-newsletter the ChamberLINKS. If there is every an emergent issue we will immediately notify our members through an instant e-mail to everyone who chooses to receive communication.
