| As one of three Rotary Clubs in the City of Ventura, Ventura South meets Mondays at noon at the Wedgewood Banquet Center, 5882 Olivas Park Drive, adjacent to the Buenaventura Golf Course.
Club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio, all under the motto "Service Above Self." Among other projects, the Club sponsors a Golf Tournament with Caregivers, distributes dictionaries to third-graders in local schools, supports the Ventura County Library Adult Literacy Program by raising funds through an Annual Trivia Challenge and helps make physical improvements to the Boys & Girls Club Lefevre Center on Johnson Drive.
