Governmental Affairs

State of the City

The Ventura Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual State of the City Business Forum Luncheon each year with the goal of providing timely information to interested business leaders.
The event begins with an update provided by the Mayor of Ventura where the city’s accomplishments and goals will be illustrated.

Continuing with a moderated panel discussion our City Manager, board representation and business leaders provide their glimpses into the future of the city based on its current course.  Audience members also submit their questions and comments for discussion.

This year’s event was held February 23, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza.
