Networking Opportunities

The Membership Services division of the Ventura Chamber of Commerce has developed several networking functions throughout the month for members to promote themselves and build a network of solid business relationships.
 
Connection Breakfast happens the first Friday of each month and is by far the most attended and famous of all of our networking events.  This event is so huge that it has earned its own web page.  Check it out!
 
QuickConnect is a speed networking function designed to resemble a typical speed dating event.  At QuickConnect you get 5 minutes with 20 individuals who are also looking to do business with reputable chamber members.  We limit to two businesses per category for maximum exposure.  This event is held once a month on a specific Tuesday between 11:30AM and 1:00PM at the chamber office located at 801 S. Victoria Ave., Suite 200.  Register online the Monday before at noon to be on the “Quick Sheet” for easy reference afterwards.  Registration is required and refreshments will be served by a sponsoring business.  To register please go to the Chamber Calendar or to become a sponsor contact Nancy Maxwell at nancy@ventura-chamber.org or call 805-676-7500.  Cost is $15 for chamber members and $25 for non-members (non-members may attend one time before joining the chamber).
 
Biz Connections are referral groups for Chamber members that meet semi-monthly to better the interests of members through the exchange of business leads and referrals.  Participants are limited to one business per professional and may not belong to any other referral group.  There are currently two Biz Connections groups, I and II.  Biz Connections I meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 11:30AM and Biz Connections II meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 11:30AM.  There is an annual fee of $50 to belong to one group and lunch is $10 or $12 depending on the restaurant.  Pre-registration is required to join these groups.  Please contact Nancy Maxwell at nancy@ventura-chamber.org or call 805-676-7500 for more information.
 
After-Hours Business Events are informal evening networking functions held at 5:30PM.  There is no charge for this function.  Locations and dates vary as scheduled.  These functions are not calendared on a regularly occurring basis.  Watch the Chamber Calendar for more details.
